COMO Le Beauvallon opened in April 2026 in Grimaud, above the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, bringing COMO Hotels and Resorts to the Gulf for the first time. The Belle Époque palace dates from 1914, when it opened as Le Golf Hôtel with 100 rooms. After nearly two decades as an exclusive-use events venue it reopened to hotel guests in 2025, when 25 sea-facing suites were offered as the first part of a two-phase development with COMO. The release dated 30 April 2026 announces the full opening, with 42 rooms and suites and rates from €840 a night.
The hotel sits on a private ten-acre estate of palms, pines and lawns. All 28 suites have views of the bay, and the Hillview rooms face the Provençal countryside. More than 300 pieces from the hotel's art collection are placed through the rooms, and the 2002 Serpentine Gallery Summer Pavilion by Toyo Ito stands in the bayside gardens. A complimentary eight-minute boat transfer runs to Saint-Tropez, and Nice Airport is 90 minutes by car or 20 minutes by helicopter.
Chef Yannick Alléno leads the dining, including the signature restaurant Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno at the beach club, where Dorothée Delaye designed the interiors and a 25 metre mosaic pool is reserved for hotel guests. The Winter Garden serves Mediterranean dishes with Niçoise accents and French classics, and a COMO Shambhala retreat has two treatment rooms.
“COMO Hotels and Resorts reintroduces one of the French Riviera's most storied addresses with the opening of COMO Le Beauvallon.”
