Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico opened on November 20, 2025, when Four Seasons took over management of an existing beachfront resort and residences at Bahía Beach, in Río Grande on the island's northeastern coast. It sits within a private 483-acre nature reserve, surrounded by two protected sanctuaries, along two miles of beach, and the operator puts it a half hour from the airport in San Juan.

Meyer Davis led the 2025 renovation, which redesigned the guest rooms and suites and refreshed Casa Grande, the arrival space, and the Lobby Lounge. The operator gives 139 refurbished guest accommodations in its September 2025 release and 149 on its hotel facts page. There are 85 Private Residences.

Ten dining and bar concepts include El Bembe, a lobby lounge for Puerto Rican rums with live music, and Paros, for Mediterranean cooking with local seafood. The spa has ten treatment rooms, there are two resort pools, and golf is on the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. course of Bahía Beach Golf Club, with an expanded racquet centre for tennis, pickleball and padel. The Tortuga Kids' Club takes children aged 4 to 12.

“the newly refurbished Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is now open”
