Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol opened in December 2025 as the first Park Hyatt in Mexico. Hyatt and RLH Properties announced the debut on December 15, 2025. Hyatt's earlier releases had pointed to the second quarter of 2025 and then to late 2025.
The resort sits on the coast of the private Cabo del Sol community in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. Sordo Madaleno was lead architect, with Paulina Morán and George Wong Design on the interiors and Yabu Pushelberg on the concept. There are 163 guestrooms and 88 suites between 452 and 1,254 square feet, plus three ocean-view villas: two with two bedrooms and a Presidential villa with three. Eleven villas and eight apartments are for sale as residences.
The resort opened with three venues, Costamar beach club, Mesa Madre and Dátil Coffee Shop, under Executive Chef Miguel Gomez. Silán, a Levantine restaurant, was due in spring 2026, and Araya Spa in the first quarter of 2026. The 59,000-square-foot wellness center has a yoga studio, and a lap pool sits beside the beach. Guests can play the Tom Weiskopf-designed Cabo del Sol Golf Course in the community.
Meeting space totals 34,500 square feet, including the 2,928-square-foot Nopal Ballroom for up to 200 guests.
