Six Senses London is the brand's first hotel in the UK. It opened on 1 March 2026 in the former Whiteley's department store on Queensway, occupying a full quarter of The Whiteley mixed use development, a short distance from Hyde Park and Notting Hill.

AvroKO designed the spaces with EPR Architects to harmonise with the building's Art Deco heritage. There are 109 bedrooms and suites, many with private terraces, and 14 Six Senses branded residences. Whiteley's Kitchen, Bar and Café serves modern British dining. Green roofs and seasonal perennial planting support biodiversity and attract pollinators.

The spa covers 2,300 square metres. It includes London's first hotel magnesium pool, a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, cryotherapy, flotation and recovery spaces, a longevity clinic, and the Alchemy Bar, Fitness Centre and Biohack Recovery Lounge. The hotel also houses the first Six Senses Place, a private members concept.

IHG's release names CC Land Holdings Ltd., Valouran and Gruppo Statuto as partners in the opening. The general manager is Nick Yarnell, who was previously general manager of Six Senses Douro Valley. Reservations are taken at sixsenses.com.

“Six Senses London is now open, as of 1 March 2026.”
