Opened June 2026
The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancún opened in June 2026, just north of Cancún in the Costa Mujeres enclave, on the beachfront near the historic El Meco archaeological site. The 2022 signing release expected the first guests in early 2025 and described the resort as a 35-minute drive from Cancún's International Airport and a quick boat ride from the Island of Isla Mujeres.
Sordo Madaleno designed the resort as a composition of glass and concrete that moves in harmony with the coastline, with stonework that references the ancient Maya port of El Meco. It has 163 guestrooms and 50 suites, including accommodations with private balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The Caroline Astor and the Presidential Suite are the signature suites. The 2022 plan was for 158 guest rooms and 80 branded residential units.
Nine food and beverage outlets include Costa Coral for all-day Mexican dining, Fish Market for Caribbean-inspired seafood, Palmare Grill for Mexican coastal cuisine and Shami, a rooftop concept that fuses Japanese technique with ingredients of the Mexican Caribbean. The spa has 16 treatment suites and a thermal circuit, and the resort has an oceanfront infinity pool, a fitness center with Caribbean Sea views and a Kids Club.
