Cambridge House

Rendering: Auberge Collection

Opens 1 February 2027

Cambridge House will open in a Georgian mansion at 94 Piccadilly in Mayfair, with 102 rooms, a restaurant from Major Food Group and a three-floor spa. It is slated for 1 February 2027, last confirmed by the operator in September 2026, and the date has moved twice: Auberge Collection said late 2025 in July 2024, then 2026 in October 2025.

The 2nd Earl of Egremont commissioned the house in 1756. It hosted Queen Victoria, served as Lord Palmerston's proxy for 10 Downing Street, was home to the Duke of Cambridge and housed the In & Out Naval and Military Club from 1865 to 1999. Jean-Louis Deniot oversees the transformation of the hotel and its guest spaces.

Six historic suites form a 6,500 sq ft Piano Nobile. Guest rooms measure 33 to 52 sq m depending on type, and the Green Park King looks over the park. The six Residences are not for sale but can be booked for stays. Rates start at £1250, room only, and you can reserve stays from 1 April 2027.

Major's will pair the American chophouse with the London grill in the restored Georgian ballroom and the jasmine-fringed courtyard, and The Reuben Bar is the signature bar. Baeden House spans three floors with a swimming pool, a bathhouse, treatment rooms and gyms. Laura Gonzalez is designing a members club due to open later in 2027. Green Park Station is a five minute walk, and Heathrow is 22km away, about 50 minutes by car.

The operator's wording, “now accepting bookings ahead of its 1st February 2027 opening”, was read on its own page and last checked 1 November 2026.
