Opened July 2026
Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel reopened in July 2026 on the laguna waterfront on the Riva degli Schiavoni, steps from Piazza San Marco. It unites three interconnected palaces. Palazzo Dandolo was built in 1471 as the residence of the noble Dandolo family and first became a hotel in 1822. Palazzo Casa Nuova was later linked to it, and Palazzo Danieli Excelsior followed in 1950.
Pierre-Yves Rochon renovated Palazzo Dandolo and Palazzo Casa Nuova in a palette drawn from the Venetian Lagoon, with celadon greens, soft blues, terracotta, ochre and powder pink. Murano glass, terrazzo flooring and Rubelli textiles feature in the interiors. The hotel has 120 rooms and suites, many looking onto the Lagoon, and the operator says total accommodations will grow to 168 once the restoration of Palazzo Danieli Excelsior is complete in 2027.
Terrazza Danieli is the rooftop restaurant, where Executive Chef Adriano Rausa presents a contemporary interpretation of Italian cuisine with a Venetian twist. Bar Dandolo sits off the lobby and also serves coffee and tea. Danieli Spa, due to open in late 2026 according to the operator's release of July 30, 2026, will have three treatment rooms, a sauna and a hammam.
The operator's wording, “The highly anticipated reopening of Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel has arrived as the property welcomes its first guests.”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
