Opens in 2027
Four Seasons Hotel Berlin is due to open in late 2027, according to the operator's release of December 2, 2025. It will mark the return of Four Seasons to Berlin after 20 years. The property operates as Hotel de Rome through 2026, managed by Gruppo Statuto, before reopening as Four Seasons Hotel Berlin in 2027.
The building was originally home to the Dresdner Bank headquarters, built in the late 1800s, and was transformed into a hospitality property in 2006. It stands in the Mitte district on Bebelplatz, with St. Hedwig's Cathedral and the Unter den Linden State Opera steps away. The Brandenburg Gate, Gendarmenmarkt and Museum Island are within walking distance.
About 140 guest rooms and suites are planned, with the architectural firm Humbert & Poyet overseeing design across rooms and common areas. Three restaurant and bar experiences are planned, including a rooftop terrace overlooking the city, and the spa and fitness facilities will sit in what was once a jewel vault. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is less than an hour away and Berlin Central Station is a 15-minute drive.
The operator's wording, “opening in late 2027”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
