Opens in 2026

Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is expected to open by the end of 2026, according to Hyatt's release of September 29, 2026, and will be the first all-inclusive Park Hyatt. An earlier release, from June 25, said the second half of 2026.

The resort will sit on a secluded stretch of Mexico's Caribbean coastline between Cancún and Puerto Morelos, inside AMAI, a private coastal enclave reached through a winding mangrove landscape. Parks Hospitality Holdings owns it. There will be 148 guestrooms and suites facing the Caribbean, some with private pools or plunge pools, plus a 2,300-square-foot penthouse. Each guest will have a dedicated Resort Ambassador from pre-arrival onward.

Dining will be entirely à la carte across seven venues, with refined Mexican cuisine and seafood at the center. The Botanist will be the cocktail bar, and a coffee bar will serve Mexican beans in the morning. The beachfront pool will be lined with private cabanas, the spa is planned as an open-air garden with secluded treatment spaces, and guests will have preferred access to El Tinto Golf Course.

The operator's wording, “Expected to open by the end of 2026”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
