Opens in 2028
Raffles Courchevel is slated to open for the 2028 winter season, according to Accor's release of 13 May 2026, and Raffles' own opening page gives the same season. It will be the brand's first alpine resort, in the Jardin Alpin precinct of Courchevel 1850, with panoramic views across the Tarentaise Valley. Art de Vivre is the developer and owner.
JMV conceived the resort, with interior design by Humbert & Poyet. It will have 50 guestrooms and suites, many with furnished private balconies that frame the surrounding peaks.
The plan lists a signature bar, a tea lounge and two destination restaurants with winter gardens and terraces. The spa will combine traditional alpine wellness with precision therapies rooted in longevity science, with treatment rooms, thermal experiences and a dedicated fitness centre, and the swimming pool will be panoramic. A programme for younger guests will centre on nature, sport and wellbeing.
The release counts it as the brand's sixth hotel in Europe and its second address in France, after Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris. The operator gives the season only, not a month.
The operator's wording, “slated to open for the 2028 winter season”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
