Opens in 2028

Rosewood Mexico City is expected to open in 2028, in the Polanco district. It will have 133 accommodations, 35 of them suites, in the grand tower of Antara's new build expansion at Av. Ejército Nacional 843. Antara is a mixed-use development that also comprises modern offices, luxury retail outlets, restaurants and entertainment venues. Rosewood says the hotel is within walking distance of Avenida Presidente Masaryk, a luxury shopping district, and of Museo Soumaya and Museo Jumex.

The Mexico City firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos designed the building. There will be four food and beverage outlets: an all-day eatery, a poolside bar and grill, a living room lounge and a specialty dining venue.

The hotel will also have an outpost of Asaya, Rosewood's wellness concept, open to hotel guests and the local community. It will include two swimming pools, a fitness and wellbeing centre, eight treatment rooms and thermal wet areas. Meeting and event spaces total 1,270 square metres. Grupo Sordo Madaleno, a real estate development firm, appointed Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to operate the hotel.

The operator's wording, “Rosewood Mexico City to Open in 2028”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
