Opens in 2027

Rosewood Seoul is due to open in 2027 beside Yongsan Park, within The Parkside Seoul, a development on the former site of the United Nations Command. It will have approximately 250 rooms and suites, which Rosewood describes as amongst the largest in the city, and seven restaurants and bars alongside Asaya.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates leads the architecture and Space Copenhagen designed the interiors. The design is inspired by the city's futuristic lines and eye-catching facades. The development has frontage along Noksapyeong-daero and links the traditional business district to the north with Gangnam to the south. Yongsan Park stretches from the Han River to the foot of Namsan Mountain and includes the National Museum of Korea, and the surrounding Itaewon area is one of Seoul's most affluent neighbourhoods.

In a release of 4 May 2023, Rosewood described Asaya as spanning 4,500 square metres, with multiple treatment rooms, hydrotherapy and relaxation areas, an indoor pool, saunas, a fitness centre and an indoor golfing facility. The plans also include Rosewood Explorers, a kids club, and 1,800 square metres of event space. Eleven D&C Co., Ltd. appointed Rosewood to manage the hotel.

The operator's wording, “when it opens in 2027”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
